You do realize that a lot of people with the 2871R internal gated .64 usually end up with boost creep issues right ?

what tommy said, all the people running full 2871 set-ups with supporting mods and everything run external WG's to battle the creep issue.

and idk tommy... i have a extra set of rockers on my spare head too, i just really wanna do this the right way while i have it torn down...

 

Im telling ya, money wasted, I have a feeling half of everyone else around who's installed cams didnt buy new oem rockers, so long as you've got a set in nice shape, your good, lack of oil causes premature wear, I have a feeling yours probably look like they do due to the oilers not doing their job, if you want to spend the money on something new oem, see about ordering some oem cam oilers.


As far as the wastegate, why not put a bracket with a heavy spring to just keep it shut, in case you decide to sell it later, it'll probably hold its value better that way.

 

if theyre scored, replace them.
if they arent, let it ride.

or analyze them with science or some shit, i dont know.

 

Yeah Im running Patricks old coil overs, they have the same spring size as megans. Im sure that has alot to do with it, coupled with the fact that I removed 2 collars to go lower. I need to get some lowering mounts from Pat, but he hasnt ever called me back about it. -_-
