Again. That shit costs $. something I don't have a lot of. Basic weight reduction is free. And it's pointless to spend money on a KA to make it faster.

I say don't worry about the interior, and focus on the driving.

But, hell, if your stuck on free stuff make sure your brake's aren't dragging and check your tire pressures.

 

By that I mean, I can't justify spending $400 on an intake headers and an exhaust just to make 20 more horsepower.

 

The fastest KA-T car is in the 7s now, I think your full of shit.

 

KA-T is an exception. But I'm never going to take my KA that far, so for me, it's pointless.

 

a friend of mine with a bolt ons KA (i/h/e & lightweight flywheel) runs a consistent 14.8

So I would say upgrades do A LOT, but then so does a driver mod.

I'm kind of on the fat side, so I'm also going on weight reduction. Also, I never expect the green to come so soon, so I need to pay more attention. Again, this was my fist time doing any kind of racing, so I have a lot of room to improve.
