Datsun Dreaming
Perfect is usually .000 .400 or .500. Obviously it was .000 here. Anway this was my first time at the strip so I'm happy.
Edit: Last time I went with a huge group of friends. The quickest R/T out of everyone was .58 I think. lol

My gf's 3.0 v6 automatic solara cuts a 2.4 60' foot and pulls 10.7 in the 1/8...
How are you launching? I see to many 240 owners that bog off the line.
Yeah, bogging sucks, never ran a KA at the track, but my best launches on the SR were at 4000 and 4500.
3k-3.5k usually ended up bogging.
Rev it up to around 5K RPM then drop the clutch and hope the tires grab. But keep in mind a 1MZ-FE is faster than a KA.
dumping the clutch is not the way to do it on street radials, in my opinion.
Next time you go, hold the rpms at like 25-3000, w/e you are comfortable with and slip the clutch out as you gradually increase the throttle input until the clutch is fully engaged and then go full throttle.
Now, I have never ran a 240 at the track, but as far as most cars I have, this has worked well for me.
I'd rather have a 1mz for straight line than a KA. But I have a lot of things to try out next time. And I'm probably going to strip my interior for the next event.
lol. It's not that much trouble to take out my interior. I've had to remove just about every part in my interior atleast once. And I've never lost a screw or clip, so everything still fits like it should.
