Anyone with SPL tension rods have an odd clunking noise when really hard on the brakes (like standing on the pedal) or if you lock the front wheels? I've been meaning to ask because I have it happen to me every once in a while and I think its from the smaller bolts they give you. So under hard load they have a tendency to shift just slightly since the bolt is about 1-1.5mm smaller than the hole in the FLCA. Mostly happens on the driver side front.

Think I'm going to find the stock bolts and put those back in there for a better fit.

Davetheslave ran them, although only with a stock KA. I drove his car, it was def an improvement over stock.

 

JGS mounts are awesome.

 

The MR mounts are a little more solid than the Nismo mounts. The rear view mirror shakes and shit lol

Get either new OEM or Nismo. I personally dont think Nismo mounts are harsh at all, but I've had them in the car for 2 years now and I'm used to it.
