Got my welder back all functional, finished welding up the one primary tube for the drivers side header, then my damn argon bottle ran out of gas, tacked the tubes together where the collector goes using C-25, haha. Tomorrow time for a bottle fill and probably start on the pass side header

Do it, t28 + 12psi = awesome on a ka

^ A t28 ka-t on 12 psi will be extremely responsive. I would estimate that a healthy ka should make anywhere between 250-275hp tuned properly with a tubular manifold. (These numbers also depend on the t28 you use...) If you want to make 300hp easily, get a t3/t04e 50 trim. I didn't want to deal with the headaches associated with a ball bearing turbo setup on a ka. (Water lines/no rebuild kits/crappy bottom mount manifolds/etc.)

Im trying to build something that I can use most stock parts for, I want to run a SMIC and all. Not looking for a racer car, just something that is fun. Im getting bored of my suspension only car.

How much do you have into your whole setup?

I spent a decent amount of $$$ on my setup... my motor is stock, but it holds up to 15psi abuse (on a 50 trim...) just fine. PROPER TUNING IS KEY! Pm me if you want details on a decent budget ka-t setup.
