No they arent swap out the lil white box down by the fuse panel the TCU controls the dash lights along with the dimmer

I started taking the SR apart, got it down to a bare block and honed the cylinders.

Yeah, OEM rings, bearings, oil-pump, water pump, turbo etc etc.

Though I'll run an Apex'i headgasket and aftermarket headstuds.

Cosworth or go home! Seriously... read about them. Unless you already have an apexi gasket.

problem is the grime on the rims dosent even sand off easily so i dont trust the little power ball to strip that part off. i checked them out yesterday, and bought some super nice aluminum polish, but until i finish sanding the really shitty and deep scratched parts i can use the power ball thing

No I haven't. I'll look into cosworth ones. IIRC they are cheaper than the Apex'i ones. Are ARP head studs worth it? This motor probably wont ever see over 300hp.

Right now I haven't purchased a single thing for the motor. That wont start happening till the end of the month. I'm hoping to have the motor assemble by the end of october, then start working on getting the external parts peice together.

Apexi is the end-all for head gaskets. That little shop in Orlando puts 45psi through them.

For 300whp, just run a stock one. Hey, I've got a new stock one sitting right here for free! Stock headbolts never did me wrong, even at 430whp and 20+psi. They're $80 for the set at the Nissan parts counter, or ~$40 plus shipping from The Nismo Store (west covina). Merry Christmas. I just saved you ~$400.
