from the sounds of it. u dont have al ot of money to spend. you don't have high horsepower goals and u dont plan on building a real built performance car.

buy an sr and do basic bolt ons call it a day. so a common and basic turbo upgrade with all that bullshti and see if the motor lasts and what not.

buy an sr. i have both ka-t and sr. i prefer my ka-t over the sr. but it's all about everyone's budget and goals. you will see real results of a properly built ka-t very very soon.

are you saying is if you swapped to to SR it would make it rhd?

stick to N/A man, if you cant afford to turbo your car and do it right, then dont do it sucks when you gotta go back and re-do everything cause you didnt spend that extra dollar.

+ 1 for Jonas, its all what you want to do and what your budget and time allows you to do.......

your going to hear sr is better and then ka-t is better, but it all depends on YOU!!!!!!!!!

whether you want build and power, or reliability and safety

you can peice together a turbo kit for a ka at:

custom manifold: 300
t3/t4 turbo:500
hybrid development front mount:500
sr injectors: 150
ebay elbo n downpipe:150
cometic head gasket: 100
total
ECU tune: 500
total with NO build: 2200
less than a SR, and with a good tune on 7-10 lbs u will be kickin some ass.
*those prices arent exact, so you can come out cheaper or just a couple undred bucks more and still have a fun ka

it will be a daily driven car and will drift on the weekends and acationaly race someone on the street, and the piecing of parts i have already got a t4 turbo and downpipe its not much but its a bit less to get or i could get a sr and put the turbo and downpipe on the sr but the way i think of it is is if u had a na sr and a na ka the ka would woop ass and would seem like a better starting point to turbo i dont understane y sr's are better(yes there turbo stock and ment to be turboed but its just a little turbo u know)

sr takes high rpm better than stock ka with turbo. Most new guys don't remember Taylor destroying 3+ stock ka's w/turbo almost 2yrs ago. Go sr for the reliable turbo car if you lose to a na ka dont feel bad they will need a rebuild soon anyway.
