I love and hate my car. The axle was already broken, and it's only 50 bucks to replace, so that'll have to be done as well.

Everything is still on schedule so Im happy.

Will the J30 diff work in the 280. If so it might be a great opportunity to upgrade while it is out.

Well today I dropped the block off to be cleaned and order the bearings etc, unfortuantly I can't just reman the pistons, so I had to order 2 new ones. Not horribly expensive at 40 bucks a pop, but they wont be here until monday

So the car will be down and out until next weekend... :sigh:

Soon enough I guess.

Stock pistons are good to mid 11's on tiny drag radials. That should keep you entertained for a while Jeff.

Stillll waiting on the parts to arrive... Im at the mercy of the UPS system! UGH!!!! I was hoping to have this stuff done by saturday evening, but at this rate I might not even see the parts until after the 1st! Very disgruntled.
