Still waiting on the oil pump and bearings... even more aggrevating is them not having a tracking number for me. They said they would call the vendor and see if they can get one.

Im so over this.

Well at this point my hair is being pulled out by the roots... the bearings have arrived, but the oil pump is nowhere to be found! I told them fuck it, get me an oil pump now, and put my motor together, I don't have the patience for it at this rate. This thing should've been done a week and a half ago, and Im nowhere. It's becomming too much to deal with.

Motor should be done monday night, and I'll be installing it the rest of this week at night. Thursday I should begin the breakin process. I might make it to the track thursday night. Money willing.

Not for nothing but I hope you are not planning on racing Thursday. Take a few weeks and break that thing in. Also it may give you a chance to work any gremlins out that could show up.

I agree. There are many theories on the hard break in but I would still put quite a bit of miles on it and get on it here and there to break it in and to tune it up. I wouldn't just throw it in and go straight to the track. I think that would just be asking for trouble but everyone has their own beliefs and ways of doing things. I just think it would suck for something to go wrong and to pull it once more!
