Thanks 240z, Autozone has then for like 10 bucks, and it's right down the street, so I'll be getting one there, along with my timing light that Im gonna need. I suck at timing so bad.

At this rate, it'll be next week before everything is together and happy.

 

Stillll waiting on a ride to get the head studs, got my gaskets in yesterday from Aaron, thanks man.

Water pump will be picked up tonight, along with oil/tranny/diff/ and coolant.

I hope to be putting the engine in tonight, and having her running by tomorrow night....

This cold weather has been sucking for me.

 

head studs in, head on, timing is set... timing cover is becomming a pain in the ass, Im missing some bolts from it and worse I dont know how everything goes on the crank pulley, I can't find shit for it in my alldata, or in my FSM.... so im a bit lost.

Oh and another great setback, I don't seem to have the oil pick up that was SUPOSED to come with the oil pump.... so I have to source one of those from somewhere... prolly order it from napa, so there goes ANOTHER week waiting for parts...

 

Unfortunatly, the crossmember is in the way, you have to pull the entire engine to just get the oil pan off.

The parts are scheduled to be here tomorrow.

At the earliest, the car will be done tomorrow night. I don't care if I have to stay up all night. I'll get her running, or at least try to.
