Bottom end rebuild...
Aaron, being the saint he is, dropped my motor off for me this morning at the shop... After going through it they found a defective timing cover gasket - aparently the gasket is supposed to plug a breather hole on the front of the engine, well it was aparently stamped wrong and this was the cause of the low oil pressure. They are going to get a new gasket kit, and test the oil pressure throughout the engine before giving it back to me. They checked all of the bearings and said everything else looks perfect. So maybe, just maybe - I'll have a car with in 2 weeks.

Stillllllllll going - Good news. - Should be done tomorrow or wednesday. Maybe this time everything will be done right. I have to at least give the shop some kudos for warrantying their work, and doing what they needed to, to get it back up and running.
I also have to say this last time, wasn't completely their fault - it was a bad timing cover gasket. They didn't see it, although they should have.

Motor is done, and is waiting for me to get off work to put it in. Maybe, just maybe... tonight it will run and be happy. I don't know - more likely tomorrow night it will run. Providing everything is setup properly. First thing on the adgenda will be to make DAMNED sure that engine has proper oil pressure.

After 4 hours, and several busted fingers and knuckles... the car runs, has oil pressure, and is ready for us, or myself to work the kinks out of it. - Although it runs, it doesn't run if I take my foot off the gas - this could be just a vac leak, or bad gas, could be a sensor not plugged in... could be lots of shit. The timing might be off as well... I'll find out tonight. Mad thanks go out to Aaron for motivating me, and Tripp for helpin out. Thanks guys
After 20 pages on the thread.. it runs.
I can assure you all though, that tonight Jeff won't be working on it. Apparently they were working on it rather late last night and he needs some sleep. So.... Friday hopefully all the kinks will be worked out and the car will be all happy again.
I am now taking donations on gas for the break-in though, since gas prices tend to be so damn high and the Z absolutely loves 93 oct.!!!
Hey, well, I tried.
