yOu need to do a good set of pistons, and a good bore and hone, with the correct piston to wall clearances, and new rings.

from there, all new bearings and seals throughout, a new head gasket, and some head studs too.

build the motor right, invest the time and money into it, and it will treat you well.

ah.

different ways of doing things i guess.

if you would have just put in a set of forged pistons and had the machine work done right the first time, the motor would be basically indestructable, and this problem wouldn't be here.

Damn Jeff, sorry to hear man. I feel for you man. I have been through the exact same thing about 3 times and decided to just get the sr. Still got problems but not as bad i guess. I was tempted to tear it apart myself and see if there were in fact any rings in the motor. Alas in fear it would void their "warranty" I kept it all in one piece and brought it to them.
I hope you get this shit sorted out before April 30th so we can finally get our race. Track day 11 was just announced. Maybe you'll make this one.
