Bottom end rebuild...

I wont know for a couple weeks at least. The low compression in that cyl leads me to believe either a bad ring install, or something with the valves. It _could_ be just the rings need to be seated.... I just dont know at this point.
The feed gasket should be here tomorrow. Tomorrow night I'll try and get on the car again, but being it's in brandon with my boy Max, I might not be able to handle it until friday night.
I'll be out saturday, I hope... limping around on 8psi.
Lord knows if the rings will break in. I've never seen so much blow-by in my whole life. Im worried, but everything is mechanical. Just some gremlins to work out.
This issue has robbed me of much more cash then I wanted it to, and Im not too happy about it. I just hope this nightmare will be over soon.

Wish me luck everyone. Tonight is the night. I'll start working on it right when I get off of work. Going to recheck everything and HOPEFULLY. Nothing serious goes wrong.
With any luck. I'll have a solid 500 miles on her by tomorrow night, and be able to recheck the compression after the oil change.

Well..... things didnt go so well.
We got everything tight and dry. Took it a good 10 mins to start up.
As we let her run, and took the revs up a bit, the smoke just got worse and worse...
The car will not stay running under it's own power. Will not idle.
Took the car around the block. Smoked it all up. Car has NO power. You can tell it has almost no compression. This motor is toast. The rings will not be seating anytime soon. There is more blowby then I've ever seen out of any motor.
The machine shop will be hearing about this, bigtime.
They will source me out a replacment motor before I spend another ounce of energy on this car.

Yeap..... Pulling the entire engine out of the car saturday morning. Taking it up there and dropping it off with the machine shop.
They said they believe there is something wrong with the head. I don't know about that, but for the sake of warranty I'll do it.
Im going to let them check everything out. If there's somethng wrong with thier work. They'll fix it.
