ls motor rear main seal
Guys I need a little help on replacing rear main seal, could I just pop out the seal without unbolting the retainer that holds it in or do I have to drop the pan and pull everything out.

The seal can be replaced without removing the the plate that holds the seal. Be sure not to roll the edge of the seal when installing it.
