Questions
Eventually one day.... I plan on having a H22 powered hatch.
Will the suspension conversion from a 98 and up prelude fit on a 99 civic hatch? I do realize that different axles will be needed in order to put the power to the wheels however by the time this goes on the car.... the engine will be installed.
If this is possible.... what modifications are going to have to be performed in order to complete the swap????
Thanks for any info!!!!!!!!
Brian.

Also what sort of gains am I looking to get out of this if it was possible. Better braking I would assume however Im wondering if in any way this will help with the transfer of power and handling ability while the H22 is installed.
Thankyou for your thoughts.

best idea would be to get some custom ground controls made and get a much stiffer front spring setup

Well Ive thought about this swap for some time now. And Ive realized the whole time that eventually.... Im going to need better brakes. If I can pick up some prelude lcas and brake hubs now for cheap... then why the hell not? I know that I should run a stiffer spring setup in the front due to the added weight of the engine. I just wanted to know if this swap was possible. Bill or John...... do you care to shed any light on this subject?????

Yes. I know the suspension setup that is best for a H22. Ive been researching this swap for a VERY long time.
BUT.... my original question was.....
Will the suspension conversion from a 98 and up prelude fit on a 99 civic hatch? And what sort of modifications would be needed??

like i said before the complete prelude swap will not work on the ek hatch if that was the case i would have brought the swap from that dude along time ago.... the only parts are the same that i found out was the rotors and calipers they are the same as the type r.

nope prelude suspension wont work chasis is very different mounting points are very different you better be very talented with a welder if you want to attempt it.
