im not knocking anyone in any way but idk why someone would put a b16a in an integra unless it is boosted or rebuilt n/a. there is a reason why they went with 1.8l because of the weight the integra is heavier. the b16a is torqueless wonder. i have a stock ls motor in my teg with boltons and kept up bumper to bumper with a swapped b16a civic from 40-85mph. anyways back to the exhaust just some advice on what i would do is get a testpipe in place of the converter and do 2.25 custom pipe from that to a resonator then to a good muffler. make sure you get a resonator because it will be loud as fuck and draw attention. ive learned the hard way.

I swapped it in for experience for the most part plus I wanted VTEC. My older motor worked perfectly and would have been a perfect candidate for an LSVTEC but I didn't feel like messing with all of the intangibles for my daily driver at the moment; school work is a little more important than dealing with constant vehicle problems in my opinion. So, you could say that I did it for performance and the Honda factory reliability. The b16a I dropped in is a SIRII JDM b16a which doesn't mean a whole lot for torque on a b18b but compaired to the b18a1 it replaced, it feels the same to me with an increase of around 35hp. If you compare the b16a I installed to the stock b17a they put into the 92-93 GSRs, you'll see very similar numbers. I personally feel as if the b16a is way faster than the b18a1 I had in it, even when I ran the stock b18a1 manifold and intake on it. But don't think for a minute that the b16a I am running is going to be the final power plant that I put into my DA, because I'll never be satisfied. I am thinking about a nice, built b18b bottom end in the near future utilizing the P30 variant pistons I am currently running stock in by my b16a, etc.
