Default T3/T4 Rebuild question

Hey all.
So today I realized that my T3/T4 turbo is pissing out everywhere out the cold side, and seeping out of the turbo where the pipe goes to the intercooler. Obviously a seal or something is fucked in there.
I assume it needs a rebuild. So what exactly does that entail, and can somebody who hasn't done that before, but who has decent mechanical knowledge and inclination do that by themself? Im not car retarded, but was just wondering if anyone has advice or past experience that might help me out. Also are T3/T3 rebuild kits basically universal?
Any and all help much appreciated.

Thanks again all.

No, the Shaft in the turbo would have to be balanced if you want it done correctly
