never seen a typeR run dude ive been in so many built hondas . supercharged and turbo'd typeR's in many other chassis than integras. , other supercharged or turbo'd b's and d's. all motor d's , b, h's, you name it .. supercharged H22's, its what made me put my jdm h22 in many years ago before it was popular . i miss that engine. but my sohc will be faster no doubt.

only reason he stayed with you was because you had a PIG for a car

 

first off....which si hatch is it? ef or eg? it makes a big differance trying to swap in the h22...the eg will be way easier,and you will not have to cut anything like on a ef chassis.

as for this sohc cam turbo talk......its garbage, whats the point when you can go b-series and just make more power!

and not all jdm b18c motors are type-r......read up on that,they have the same engine code but way differant motors

Dude your talking pig but you had a H22 in a del sol and a Integra is still staying with you? How may pounds less is your car! He shouldnt have even been in your class and if he had a JDM B18c in the Integra Type R shell he probably would have killed you
A JDM spec R runs lower 1/4 times than the USDM spec R!

Anyway back on topic. I was trying to make a point of reference for the orginal poster to compare the two motors in their some what original shells. A JDM Type motor in a integra is alot faster than a JDM H22 prelude. Stock for stock! But given the weight its all comes down to preference since your putting it in a hatch cause the JDM Type R motor is still putting out the same amount of power and alot more rev happy = more fun!

wtf are you think , the only way that he can make 500 with any honda motor is to boost it . in all if your gonna buy a b18c i say you just save your money and k it , B series and K are the only way to go -to me , but everyone has a different opinion
