if i remember correctly you can get koni yellows for around 400-450 at the honda-tech sponsored marketplace. i didnt read the entire post but why are you gonna run coilovers, you plan on adjusting your height all the time? why not run the koni yellows with nuespeed springs

cause its a preferece. i want the adjustabilty. i run 15" daily at times might run 14" on the track will run 13" not that its a big deal. with springs if its not dropped enough you are stuck unless you cut them then you may greatly sacrifice your ride quality, also if its dropped too much you definately are stuck. now with coilovers you can adjust to your desire. one thing now i see that the omni-powers full coilover setup are made for 92 and up will seach and see if they are made for my 91. if not guess its onmi-power slip ons and koni yellows. remember when i priced them they are only off by a few dollars.

your best bet is always going to be the full coilover setup.
the dampners will be better mnatched to the spring rates, and there wont be rattling, and looseness that sleeve kits have.

thanks for the reply. so the dampening of the full coilover is like the adjustability of the stiffness on struts? never had no problems with my inexpensive coilovers "slip ons" with tokico blues in the front and stock struts in the rear, just looking to go better. just got to see if the full is offered for my year.

yeah, dampening/stiffness, different words same thing.

but in a full coilover the stiffness/dampening will be more matched.
konis are awesome, but any replacement strut is going to be alot softer, because of the unknon spring that will be going on them. companies give on the soft side, rather than make them too stiff.

if its only a few dollars, get the full coilovers.

Not only that, but if you cut the springs, you've basically destroyed them. You don't just loose ride quality, you loose the integrity of the spring. They are designed to compress a certain distance at a certain point in the spring. If you change that, you've just destroyed it's design.

thanks. never thought about that they are made to compress to a certain distance. know the ride quality is really compromised (less harsh word) when you cut spring.
cut springs is ol skool back in the day ghetto type setup.

one guy said he got the full coilover for $630 shipped. one place i saw them has them for $649 not shipped. also have been told that the street setup is sweet from first hand experience and that the race "sport" is terrible stiff word of mouth.
