when i did my search i saw that the first batch was not that good but since they have corrected the problem. so if the first batch is 10mm the others would be? and whats the difference? was thinking bout skunk2's but heard they have had a lot of problems and a parts dealer stopped selling them and also recommended omni-powers. well i think its set i will in the sometime near future get the onmi-power coilover and the koni yellow adjustable struts. any price range info on the koni's? thanks.

Skunk2 's are a good all around coilover, but with ANY slip-on you will have your ups and downs, I can show you a handful or customers that didnt like the Omni's and another handful that didnt like the Skunks.. It all depends on your setup and how you are going to use them, and how you drive. I run the Skunk2 Drag launch kit, It is one of the stiffest spring rates I have felt but the ride is not all that bad, I run Koni reds all around and in the 1/4 mile I was able to shave an average of .2-.3 tenths off my time again the ride is a little stiff, but some things need to be sacrificed to achive others. BTW I was told the Skunk DL kit was OFF ROAD, and I blew it off at 1st, untill I ended up almost loosing the car around a corner at 30MPH(was on the gas pretty good tho) the rear end came around Sooo fast I didnt know what hit me.. The 2 choices you have are a toss up, I say if you can get a better deal on one then the other, than go with the better deal.. G/L

did some more looking and just want to see what you guys think of these spring rates. for the skunk 2's they are 400lbs in the front and 500lbs in the rear. now for the omni-power they are 448lbs in the front and 336lbs in the rear. see that the omi-power is the best priced in my little search. just got to look around for some pricing on the koni yellows. any insight on where to look? thanks. also it is said that with the onmi's you can change out your srings to satisfy your needs.

That was the problem right there. Spring rates on those were probably 200 or something weak. That is about the crappiest setup possible which yielded those bad results for you man. Just clarifying.
