I do have to say that SS's dyno did read a tad high. On my 1st setup which was simular to this person I put down 179WHP at 169 FTLBS of TQ all motor, and on the spray B4 it Poped I put down 285WHP at 277FTLBS of TQ. And John(not in this game anymore was my go to person when I needed anwsers. He could deff tune the shizzel out of a motor..

If you are woundering why the motor poped,i ts because I had a faulty bottle pressure guage. We thought the bottle was at 1200 when it was at like 1400PSI right at the bursting limit, and the motor ran lean for a sec and BOOOOM, got a nasty nitrous backfire that split the intake in half, shot the filter acrossed the shop, and snaping a fuelrail bolt from the intake mani tweaking the fuel rail.. shitty day it was ......

CTR pistons are not the best option. this setup will need a larger cam to hit 200. As for te 184TQ most likely there is a spike on the chart giving the high read.

I've seen this EXACT setup crest 200WHP on a dynojet multiple times ...

Neils setup in his hatch I belive is similar and made 203WHP ??

Now with More compression / Larger cams such as Toda Spec B/C or Jun II/III Or something such as Crower Stage 4/5 you could make much more power but you powerband becomes more so "peaky" than a 200WHP all motor setup already would be ...

If I wanted a track only car it would have a fully done Portflow/RLZ head 12.8:1 Flycut pistons , 84mm sleeved with the combustion chambers on head opened up and some HUGE cams ... This could make 230/240WHP but would only run on race gas reliably etc ...

A 220WHP Motor hit with a 150 wet progressive Would make nasty power and porbally hook on some 235/60/15 Mickeys ...

Im awear of what Neil has done but what your saying is put a Nice Header On An ITR Motor and You Will MAKE 200whp. The only thing you have changed from a STOCK ITR is COMPRESSION. Im sure if you can get Neil to post on here his motor was not that simple. look at Bigbodysmiths build - more stroke than an ITR a nice header and SK2 stge2 cams to get him over the 200 mark. People always say 200 is easy but its not. trust me ive done it a few times.

to much compression and impared flame travel due to large domes . if this is for a street car go w/ JDM ITR's. you still get the piston coating but w/ a more streetable compression. my $.02

yeah heard of too much compression (in a ls\vtec) for a street car or reliable one. did not hear of the imared flame travel. only like the jdm type r has the coating like the ctr's? cause the p30's do not. with ctr's in a ls\vtec i think (correct me if i am wrong) the c.r. will be about 12.5 .
