Id keep an eye on those egts... They get high from running too rich, just as they do from running too lean or running too much timing...

I was mistaken and stand corrected John called me this morning and said it was 11.7 a/f. The tune was very early morning and a little brisk out.

I was looking at the dyno wideband which was acting funny because the last car to use it was running race fuel. His (john's) own wideband was at 11.7. Sorry to get everyone's t-backs twisted.

Yea, I woke this morining to read the same thing you all read, and was like????? Now I know I would NEVER tune a car to 10's EVER, so whats the deal? ... The LM-1 WB the dyno was using was reading 30:1 and lie 25:1 at idle??? I asked them what the deal was, and they said the guy B4 may have used racefuel.. I hooked my PLX up and sure enough it was Sooooo off. after a while it started to work a little better. but was still off by about 2 points sometimes.. Lzyls-T car has a very smooth power curve and climbs all the way to redline flawlessly. he has great midrange power to boot to for having a larger size turbo.. The car flat out gets it done, no doubt about it, and I am greatful he gave me a chance to work with him and his car.. Thanks for the right up vance,(even if you scared the poop out of me at 1st with the 10 A/F thing).. No biggie, I figured you had forgot about the bad WB..

John Blown, what do you think of the Land and Sea dyno's?
I really dont like to use and other dyno other then a load type dyno(land&sea/Mustang). They let you tune for real life driving and give you a true potential reading for the car on the street and the track. Alot of people on and around this area(and hell the rest of the scene for that matter) frown on any car making low numbers and lokk for HUGE numbers on a dyno. You try driving a 400+HP FWD car on the street and tell me its easy or even fun for that matter, compared to lets say a 325HP car. I am hear to tell you, If you want a high number, DONT use a load dyno, use a dynojet(or simulare) Now if you want your car to flat out perform the a load dyno is your best bet. But if you still want those bigger numbers to throw in faces of others, take the load dyno numbers and add 15-18% and you will get about the same numbers most of the syno queen cars are throwing down ... All in all, for true tuning dyno, The land and sea is one of the better ones on the market( IMHO )
