If you run ls/b16 head bolts you will be in for shit.

Not doubting your knowledge, but from my side Id say to get the Golden Eagle LS VTEC conversion, and the proper bolts for doing so, as oppose to machining stuff to make weak OEM shit fit.... But for an all motor application not making alot of power you way would probably be ok... I just prefer play it safe....

The GE kit consists of a Head Gasket, Head Studs, Main Studs, GE block girdle etc. It does not come with new rods or rod bolts to my knowledge.

Arp rod bolts are a must if you plan on running OEM pistons on an ls crank & rod setup. Also, shaving 1mm off each side of the b18c5/b16b pistons is required to fit the ls rods onto the bseries pistons.
