Florida is required by law to have a sticker on the pumps if the fuel contains ethanol.

I thought so, which is why when someone said they were selling mixed gas before they had stickers it made my brain tweak a little bit...

OMG.

I just thought of a MASSIVE problem with this ethanol crap.

Alcohol based fuels such as E10 can eat fiberglass boat fuel tanks. Literally eat them.

Most fuel tanks below ground at gas stations, are fiberglass tanks.

I wasn't pushing for ethanol, I was just saying you're wrong. And nuclear waste is transported safely, but guess what they do with it? They bury it in old salt mines. That sounds like its great for the environment.

older stations still have steel tanks. the problem there is the insides of the tanks rust, alcohol is a solvent, which knocks the rust off the inside of the tanks and into the fuel

All fuel pumps have fuel filters built in to prevent contaminents from entering your fuel tank.
