Non ethanol gas stations
I'm hating the poor mileage caused by this "10% or less ethanol" bullshit, not to mention the just flat lack of performance because of it.
So I've been trying to stick to the non ethanol stations, but they are dwindling in numbers here in St. Pete. Perhaps you guys can help in the search
Post up the stations that are still selling normal fuel.

good luck!
i know every gas station down here in fort myers has e10 now.
one thing i have been wondering is, if they are not running 100% gas, why are prices still so high? they are using less gas per barrel, plus picking up government subsidies for the ethanol.

They cut (another) corner to increase their profit margin. Why the hell should they pass any discount along to you if you'll still buy at full price?

^ What he said. And everyone wonders why the oil companies are raking in record profits.
I drive less now than I ever have. I think I went through a tank in three weeks now. 94 mustang tank of gas is like 14 gallons I think. When I figure out how to make my car run on farts, I'll be a millionaire and I'll have an unlimited supply of fuel for the car.

they are using it as a "its better for the planet" thing to make people feel better about driving.
That 10% ethanol is actually worse than just straight gas. It doesn't burn properly because none of our engines, let alone fuel maps, are designed for that crap. So we are actually dumping worse shit into the air than when we were burning normal fuel.
Mix that with the worse gas mileage and we are using more fuel than before and it actually worse for the environment.
But, that 10% makes your average dumb shit feel better about driving cuz they have heard how fantastic ethanol is, and your average dumb shit doesn't even know how to figure gas mileage so they don't notice the over 30 less miles to the tank.
I wish I had stock in a fuel company, I could just live off of the dividends. They have this country by the balls and there really isn't shit we can do about it...
There was one near me, but it closed down. Since then, the only one i've ever seen what north... like georgia and further north...
Where is there one in St. Pete?
I haven't had any worse gas mileage or performance....Most gas stations have been running 10% ethanol for alot longer than they've had the stickers. I think maybe you're imagining things, or maybe you just need a tune up
It isn't any cheaper becasue the corn has to be planted, harvested, trasported to process, processed, and transported to distribution. Every one of those steps uses gasoline/diesel, thats why the oil companies are supportive of E85.
