Yep, its your choice whether or not if its rice. But I'm guess I'm slow if I run low 13's and I happan to have a carbon fiber hood.
I bought one just cause I taught it was cool too have (This was back in '99)

this is more of a domestic vs. import thing.....because obviously CF hoods arent the trend or style on domestics, but in japan theyre really popular on japanese cars
a CF hood on an import is like a cowl hood on a domestic
should be decently fast, but IMO i think they look good
if youre looking for speed u can definatly spend your $$$ somwhere else, but if youre looking for asthetics then i think they look good aswell

i started this thread and i drive a domestic, and i plan on getting a cf hood because i like the look, and technically they are lighter. so whoever said this is an import vs domestic thing, you are wrong.
and OH MY GOD, i heard your saturn type ''R'' couldn't pull an old lady off a piss pot, so why dont you go back to the valley and stop thread bashing.
oh my god this is so a Last Week post there was a big arguement in Free For all about Carbon Fiber just search for it and read it.

and last time this question was posted alot of domestic guys said they would get a cf hood for their cars if they made them for there car. and there was a few in there who have very fast domestics.
also, you can get painted CF hoods, you cant even tell its CF, looks like a stock hood, just like the fiberglass ones.

This is the internet. You're just supposed to talk up whatever you do know as if you're a salesman for it. i.e. I drive a Supra and a Corolla therefore 2JZ is the greatest and so is the 4A and I don't care about anything else because it's all crap since I don't have it.
