carbon fiber hood rice or nice
what do you guys think about carbon fiber hoods, and mirrors for that matter. do you think they are nice or rice? also note please dont say you only like the real carbon fiber hoods because the fiberglass with carbon fiber overlay is just straight rice. because even though it is not completely carbon fiber, it still ways less than the stock hood. so give me your opinions rice or nice.

Rice. Oh sure, the real ones are lighter than stock or fiberglass ones but if your aim is to go faster, there are much better places to spend your money. If you just can't squeeze any more out of your engine, tranny or suspension, fine, get the hood. Otherwise, no matter how you dress it up, it's still rice.

i don't go for the mirrors, i like the hoods, if you get a really nice one.
but the doctors right, unless you specifically want style and not speed, chances are the hood money could be better spent elsewhere.
i do miss my hood tho.

oh my god this is so a Last Week post there was a big arguement in Free For all about Carbon Fiber just search for it and read it.
Personally i think if you think it is Nice then go for it but choose your Company wisely!!!! I Recommend VIS very nice clean fit

Beyond just rice, it vanilla rice. Might as well start shopping for stickers and triple deck shopping cart wings.
Just how much does one spend on a carbon fiber hood anyways? Our Earthen Father said it best, spend that money somewhere else, unless this is the last resort weight reduction. It's too cheesy for me though, and you specifically asked for opinions. Not flaming anyone who likes that kind of stuff, I just think it's dumb, but hey--N20 use aint the brightest thing I could do either.
