You would only by a car for the power ? Not me. It would have to be for looks also. Viper to me is so played out. The look never really changed. Whats so differn't about the way it looks other then the powertrain has been upgrated several times. I rather go with something newer, better looking, and can drop a little bit of money and make it a little faster.
I would be satisfied with a 2009/10 Challenger R/T If it isn't as fast as a Viper Wouldn't bother me, But I could always drop some money into it and make it faster, Plus it has a more beautiful body to me then the viper.. (IMO) No disrespect to Chuck

Good arguments..... but the way a car looks does not make it more "fun"....and at a real track those cars don't compete, your other statements are opinions....I have different ones and thats fine. But when it comes to driving "fun" the Viper is very hard to beat.

Who said anything about power...chuck just has suspension and that is it and I have personally sat in the passenger seat as he ran down ZO6's...yes 2 of them driven by capable drivers.... Again, the cars mentioned are good cars, but they DO NOT run the track like a Viper (Sans the vette). As a matter of fact, I love the Challenger...but after driving them they aren't even close to as fun as the viper.
Don't confuse this for BS TR drama. I am NOT hating those choices...this is an affirmation of just how capable the Viper is, not a put down of the others.

u know they did produce an srt10 challenger right? i have a magazine here to show it if u want. they sold some 30000 V6 shells to drop a viper engine into. so srt 10 challenger would be hot. but i doubt it wold be great around corners. They had some good pros and cons of it. odd to know that the challenger can house a v10. why buy the rt when u can buy a v6 shell ( running) from dodge and just drop a v10 into it 
. i would love a V10 challenger. but again we are talking about vipers not challengers. sorry for the thread jack.
