That's one we both can agree on, no matter what car you end up getting it's all about learning to drive it.

If I could do things all over again (with 45K) I would have held of buying the Z, and bought a real nice mint 993 (911).
Timeless design
excellent build quality(doors still make a satisfying thud when the door is shut)
excellent steering/brake feel
interior not made by rubber maid (like most american cars - although the very recent cars are pretty awesome)
Very entertaining and rewarding car to drive. Love it to death.

My 2nd nominee would be a E46 M3 for similar reasons.

I'm pretty sure the idea behind the NSX was for it to go fast around corners, not just in a straight line. That car punishes cars with way more power than it has around tracks...

and fyi the newer NSX's were good for low 13 sec 1/4s

The Acura NSX is an awesome car. I saw it spank all sorts of exotics on a track, but it ended up overheating right before the finish line.

It was a nice car, but I got tired of even that after 2 years.

Whats the main reason that you really want the viper ? I could think of several other american muscle/pony/sports cars for the price of a used viper that would be much more exciting to play with.
