Vipers are a no frills ride so if you're looking for heated seats, cruise control, traction control, cup holders and a really really neat-o stereo buy something else.

If you need ABS you'll have to get a 2001 or newer.

Come to Sebring next weekend and you'll see 50+ Vipers tracking and racing.

Get a Porsche instead - then go drive it on the track

I'm holding off responding until we find out if the Irishman really enjoys driving or if he's a sissy and wants the car to drive for him.

Vipers are a real no frills ride, as Chuck already mentioned. I've had the opportunity to, not drive unfortunately, but ride in multiples, and they're VERY much 'driver' cars. You don't buy one to take out on a weekend pleasure drive down the beach, feeling like you're in a Cadillac. If you're interested in hitting up road courses left and right... Go for it!

Yup, still got 'em both. Trying to figure out how to get an ACR-X but right now it's just a pipe dream.

Go take a look at early year Vipers. I have seen them go for low 20's.
