You shoot from the hip too much. That's why you always make an ass out of yourself. I never hijack a Vette thread unless somebody else makes a Viper comment. Even in this thread I only mentioned the Viper in response to a gas mileage comment that bashed the domestics, in essence I was siding with the Vette.

As for your "more balls" comment, 1/4 mile the Vette finally regained the lead for one year. Drags really don't matter to me but to you they are everything so enjoy it for the next few months. But if you ever want some driving lessons you better show up with something else.

Yeah, that 140 hp 1976 Vette was a beast to handle.

I know this is kind of old and Im really not sure what the new viper's times were but didnt the new Z06 get the 3rd fastest time at the Nurburgring, hows that for handling? I never heard anything about the new viper beating its time.

cmon, nothing about 73-late 80's vettes was amazing. all the emission shit was a joke.

you all wanna talk corvettes. talk L88 or ZL1. LS7 may be the highest rated from the factory, but the L88/ZL1 made more then any vette in the real world.

73-74 Pontiac SD 455. No joke about those.

But yes, you are correct. There were nearly 20 years of dismalness coming from Detroit.
