Acutally it was called "Americas Sports Car" For the longest time it was the only true American sports car. Now you have the Viper

Yeah Corvette's have a following like no other , its all about heritage .Now I'm sure anyone even if they hate Corvettes would have to admit that this is quite badass.

I think the definition of 'muscle car' needs to evolve with the times. We've still got the 6+ liter motors, but now they have fuel injection and all sorts of doo-dads. Same principle - new technology to make it better.

why wouldnt they supercharge the 7.0L engine? instead of using a 6.2L.

B/C the Corvette SSS will have the supercharged 7.0L engine.

...because all the LS7's are assembled by hand. its much easier to do a run of 6.2's.
