I dont think there is anythign wrong with owning a V6 mustang, but more along the lines of thinking your V6 mustang is fast.

m&ff got a 14.9 outta the previous gen v6 stang and all they did was pull the spare tire and lower the tire pressure. That was on the 190hp 3.8 pushrod motor.

Its basic principles of physics which remind us that every increase in a motor's size yields marginally less results each time. That means 4-cyls should be more efficent than 6-cyls which should be more efficent than 8-cyls and you get the idea. Thats how it works.

BTW, GM's pushrod non-VTEC non techno-babble horseshit motor in the new ZO6 Vette will pwn your S2000. Hell, SUPERCHARGE your S2000 and it'll still pwn it. Put a shot of NAWS on it and guess what? It'll still PWN it.

Ford...well...Ford doesn't have much ni the way of superbeast N/A motors that I know of in their cars. they prefer superchargers/turbochargers.

Lets see how fast the F20C or even the F22C is when its stuffed into a car thats 500+ lbs more in weight.... silly honda owners. Those motors are torquless wonders at anything under 5k. Ive driven them. They make my little truck seem torquey.

I guess no one gives love to the boring old non-vtec 4.6 3V SOHC ford motor that makes 300 hp on 87 octane.....

Altima
VQ35DE – 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6
Horsepower – 270 hp @ 6,000 rpm Torque – 258 lb-ft @ 4,400 rpm

Mustang
4.0L SOHC V-6
210 hp @ 5250 RPM
240 lb-ft @ 3500 RPM

The v6 is the baseline car, and isnt given uber amounts of power so it doesnt compete with the GT. What would happen to V8 sales if it only had 20 more HP than the base v6 model?

Maybe they'd have to put out a Mustang GT worth a shit, then? Are you seeing the correlation between that line of thinking and why Ford is losing more moeny than Bush in an oil investment?
