Its true about the V6's some people think they can beat most 4 bangers but they fail to realize that you try to race a 4 banger with a little work done and it eats V6's but V6 mustang people are cocky

240SXs had rear drive, but never had 210 HP or even close to 240 ft lbs of torque stock. The supercharged Frontiers would be closer, but those were a lot more than 20 grand new. And a Ridgeline is going to cost you more than $20Gs new as well.

For the sake of argument:

Car and Driver Magazine:
3.5 L, V-6 Honda Ridgeline RTS, 5 speed Automatic

0-60
7.90 sec.

1/4 Mile
16.30 sec.

Issue
Jun-05

Top Speed
110.00 mph

...and

Motor Trend Magazine:
4.0 L, V-6, 5 speed Automatic 2006 Mustang Convertible

0-50
5.20 sec.

0-60
7.30 sec.

0-70
9.40 sec.

1/4 Mile
15.50 sec.

60-0 Braking
125.00 ft.

Issue
Aug-06

Skidpad
0.75 g.

And found this...'06 V6 Coupe Mustang: 15.3 @ 91mph
source: 2006 Ford Mustang ('06)

BTW....dumbest comparison EVER!!! haha.

240SXs also weren't boats, although compared to my Civic they are.

You can buy used 350Zs for under $20Gs

And what does it matter? I don't like V6 Mustangs and I think they are great for the stupid 16 year old whore driving it around doing her makeup, talking on her cellphone and adjusting her bra, I just don't like V6 Mustang drivers that try and act fast when they drive a 3500lb car that makes 200 HP.

Stop defending it, its not going to change my opinion, I'll pay the extra $2k for a GT and enjoy myself in a V8 Mustang.

True. There are more posers in the world than there are racers.

and for every bad thing you say about other cars, something can be found bad about your superior choice of vehicles, its a never ending argument.
Scott90? that 40 year old douche with the Grand Prix? Your mom?

And the V8 stangs you saw run 15s weren't running right. A stock Foxbody can run in the 13s with a sticky pair of tires. Mind you thats 80s domestic technology....But I'm sure you're right for some reason. Driving a Honda means you know more about Mustangs than the collective knowledge of the Ford forum, right?

Back when I had my 2000 Nissan Altima automatic V4 and a friend with I think a 01 Mustang V6, I was able to keep ahead just about a cars length on him, being that the altima was no racing material but just a thought came to my mind, now forward ahead now, I wonder how the new 07 altima would pair with the new V6?

Altima
VQ35DE – 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6
Horsepower – 270 hp @ 6,000 rpm Torque – 258 lb-ft @ 4,400 rpm

Mustang
4.0L SOHC V-6
210 hp @ 5250 RPM
240 lb-ft @ 3500 RPM

The fact that you just said "V4" makes me want to bludegon you in the face with a Carp. But I think the V6 Altima would beat the V6 Mustang even in 07.

just to throw my 2 cents in..

most young people drive the V6's (including yours truly) because they cant afford a GT or especially a Cobra. GT's cost more than 2k over the V6's and much less then that, for an 16, 17, or 18 year old guy, the insurance is a killer if they pay it them selves like i do. also, if they have smart responsible parents, they'd probably shit a brick if i came home with a GT or Cobra. but those are just my thoughts..
