Why is that?

A F-body is filled with just as much platic,rattels, and next to no creature comforts as any mustang on the road.

Only thing that makes the F-body any good is the LS1 or LT1. Think about it. When was the last time you heard any F-body owner talk about how plush his interior was or the extensive list of creature comfort's.

Face it. Shell for shell, comfort for comfort, or anything along those lines. Both the Mustang and the F-body suck.

They are close to the same in everything (as far as comfort and build quality) except for the engine and drive train. Which the LS1 wins hands down. The only thing the Mustang can brag about is the 8.8 rear end out back.

So why would it be worse to put a V6 in either one of them.

 

I'd kill someone for that car. Literally.

 

I must be an oddball, but I actually love my Fbody's interior .. I've driven some pretty badass car's too

 

I wouldn't say that you are an "odd" ball.

I love my stangs interior. However I know it's not top notch. The fit and finish is not the best, I know yours rattles as does mine, The leather gets the job done but is not "fine quality", the use of plastic is every where, the options on them are pretty limited.

That said I still like the interior in my Stang just fine. I just know not to try and compair it to or say it is a "luxury" car in any way.

 

I heart luxury interior....Mmm, now next step after this Buick is to step up to a Cadalliac and get SERIOUS luxury.

 

 

I did'nt expect the ridiculous amount of response this thread would get, but it seems I'm not the only one curious about v6 stang owners and their mentality. The "v6 stang = new civic" theory seems to be the best in that no matter what you're driving they will attempt a race, revving the hell out of the under-powered motor, weaving in and out of traffic, and just refusing to believe they own a slow mustang.
I would like a v6 mustang owner to get in on this thread.

BTW, this thread is not about MUSTANG HATE, just the 'domestic ricer' label stamped on them.

 

i know my V6 mustang is slow as piss and the eclipse i traded for it would smoke it all day long, but the fact is a mustang is a mustang. it doesnt matter if its a GT or a Cobra or a damn V6, its a nice, fun, reliable car to drive and i enjoy the hell out of mine. sure i drive a little fast and weave through traffic sometimes, but thats just because i love driving. i do it in my stang, i did it in my eclipse before that, and i did it in my explorer before that. now i'm not goin 90 to nothin 24/7 trying to race everyone and their mother, but if someone pulls up to me i'll do it for shits and giggles.. and usually lose but who gives a shit? it has nothing to do with the make or model for me its just driving. would i rather have a GT or Cobra? you better fucking believe, but working at Hollister making $6.67 an hour, it just aint gonna happen so my V6 will have to do and thats fine with me.
