you can get comp with out anything else. Iv done his several times......... Just go online & add comprehensive to your policy & in a week or 2 file a claim about your windsheild.........
they wont replace it for a scratch they will try to repair it. file a claim & before the glass guy gets their hit it with a hammer & be done with it...

 

Yep, its free. I bought my car with a small rock chip in the windshield. After two years of heating and cooling, it never cracked. However, I was tired of the permanent streaks, so I put a screw driver over the crack and hit the screw driver with a hammer! New streak free windshield for me!

yeah i have a card right here.. that says u must have comprehensive coverage...... so pretty much i went thru this.... hood flew up n spiderd the whole glass n fucked up some other stuff too..... 158 bucks came outa my pocket..
