LMAO we tried the truck idea before and actually went as far as to call the trucking company to see if they would fix it since we were afraid it would up the insurance...well long story short the truck company laughed at us and said that they don't have to cover anything because they have signs on the back of their rigs that say stay at least 50 ft back...Needless to say the insurance replaced it and my insurance actually went down a little when I redid my policy...I have Farm Bureau

Ok well here is how it works. Yes I have personally done it. You dont need full coverage. All you need is comprehensive coverage. Their is no deductable for the replacement of a windsheild in the state of florida. The insurance company will set the appointment to get it repaired & they will do it on location ( your work, school, home, etc etc) They will repair it if it is just a nick. Always say that it is smashed. They never come out to check the car or anything. You just file the claim & the glass guy comes & replaces it.

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.

you guys need to read, then post. If you have basic PIP it will NOT cover windshields, you must have Comp n Colision on you policy in order to get your windshield fixed.

glass is covered under comprehensive coverage. so, you have to have comp to have the glass coverage which would replace your windshield. and yes, there is no deductable for the windshield replacement w/florida insurance.

Pretty much right, but you can't buy one without the other (I'm an Agent)
