All of you guys are saying "i've heard bad things" and "my friend had the bad times" But none of you are making any valid arguments..

+1

i made the mistake of judging them at first based on what others said. After hearing the real story i came to the conclusion that i had been a complete ass to Ian and driven concepts and regretted doing that. i wont ever attack a shop again unless i have absolute first hand experience that somethign went wrong. for all of you that say "i heard this.." and " i heard that..", hear DC's story first before you assume what went on. After "hearing" about all the bad, i took time out of my day to go check them out, and so far Ian and everyone else has been pretty damn good to me.

ian gave me poor work and lies after spending over 7k in his shop, he tried to fix the problems once but the car came back even worse then before, after arguing with him he told me to sue him and hung up the phone, just did the same thing to another friend of mine as well, i have pictures of all the work performed poorly, im sure this thread will be locked in no time, i just think other members should know

not trying to argue nor do I have a side but word of mouth is how shops like DC get thier buisness, so if all people are hearing about them is nagative things which im sure had to come from somwhere they are probably going to take their buisness elsewhere, but they deserve to be personally checked out by a person if they want work done but not everyone is going to take the time to do so if all they here is negative things.

no, what we're all having is a productive, mature argument.

Well, sometimes 1 or 2 people who either A. did have a bad experience or B. had over the top expectations for something, DC explained they would try to help as best as possible and that was taken too literally and their words used against them, tend to get a little too angry and for one reason or another, go around tarnishing and blemishing the name of a rather legitimate business.

I will admit i heard "bad things" too at first, but once hearing that they do great nissan work, i decided to give it a go.

Got great service, knowledgeable staff that helped me out along the way and great, fair prices. Once i went in to have something checked (my car would STINK of gasoline when clicked to the on position) and it happened to be a busy day, they fixed the problem, replaced the tubing causing the problem, explained how and why it happened and sent me on my way without charging me labor or for the part.

That's good business in my book.

If LHT is really better then that's fine. It probably is, i don't know, i've never been there. But that doesn't mean that every other shop in tampa has to immediately close down because their prices and service just don't match up. Theres no reason to bash another shop just because you think another's better.

I still want to hear what Ian has to say, I have spoken to the guy and he has impressed me with the profecialism he's show when talking to me, that and I have talked to Memole and DJ and they both rate DC as a highly profecional shop, not some holw in the wall joint.

To tell you the Truth, Sean Kriner was my first person of choice since he's got 3 All-Tracs but I have tried to get him to reply to my emails and pms but he has falled off the face of this earth and I have no idea if he even would want to rebuild my All-Trac's engine.
