Default HUGE thumbs up LHT, thumbs down Driven Concepts

Well just figured i'd let everyone know my experience, so that they may make the right decision when they decide to deal with a shop. I took my manifold and piping to Driven Concepts to have a wastegate flange rerouted to the collector on my manifold and also have my aluminum piping welded. After 1 MONTH the welder flaked on doing my piping and then after 3 MONTHS i come to find out that my manifold, which i was told was done, had absolutely NOTHING done to it and i was misled for months thinking it would be awesome and all the guy told me was "i fibbed and lied about it, im sorry theres no excuse". I finally decided to pick up my manifold at the shop, but they wanted to charge me 80 bucks for giving me a manifold with a hole in it where the collector was supposed to be, when the original price was 100 bucks for the COMPLETE job, how does that make sense? 80 for half assed job or 100 bucks for a complete job, hmmm which one would i choose?

Finally the owner Ian intervened and said he had no prior knowledge and gave me HIS WORD as a man, that i would have my manifold done the next day, and that he would pay for my gas since i live in st.pete. I was really pissed, but i decided to take him up on his offer. Next day i show up and my manifold was still not done! it was exactly as i last saw it, and the guys there just told me to take my manifold and there would be no charge, what a deal huh? On top of that i didnt even get my gas money

Shortly after leaving there i went to John at LHT and in LESS THAN 1 HOUR, they had my manifold done and welded and my aluminum pipes done as well, looked awesome. They were very professional, clean, and organized. Treated me like i was spending a million bucks and did what driven concepts couldnt do in 3 months in less than an hour. Im not here to slander, just inform and share my shop experience as a customer. Dealing with driven concepts has made me realize why i do my own work instead of using shops and they are lucky i dont talk to the better business bureau, BUT LHT came through and if i ever need the help of a shop, they are sure to have my business as well as my friends. Sorry for the lifestory and if your here to defend driven concepts, please dont post, theres no justifications for the owner not following through on his word. Thanks, Peace

Glad you got it done at LHT, seems like LHT is moving quite well with any project they take on. I've been enjoying seeing all their projects and progress. I can't comment on DC, actually have no comments on them.

I also dont want to bash but I have noticed that everytime I go there the people working all seem to ignore you even if you are standing right there at the front counter looking at them. makes me feel really uncomfortable and unwanted there.

That's when you pick the stapler up and staple their face to the wall.
