The scene hasnt died for me, you just have to hang out with the right groups. The Subaru group is alot more mature and active than most others.

the drag radial scene is poping the florida radial guys are now creating there own series to run its going to be a total of 10 races witch there will be 2 races at each track.
there is well over 70 drag radial cars in florida so there should be atleast 30 cars at each event

^^^damn that sucks.I grew up around domestic cars working with my dad in the garage and i was raised on chevy+big motor+ big tires+ a shit load of hard work= a badass street/strip car.Slowly I have grown on imports but not the ricer bullshit but VW and some some clean 240's.It sucks that they are coming down now that I finally get to drive.

I reckon its getting to be the same way around the country. I'm in jacksonville and the same thing is happening, we hung out at BJ's, and it used to be a good turnout, now its 5 times the amount of people, and all are ricers. It went from car guys hanging out, to stupid highschoolers doing burnouts, then the others throwing tire irons with them. Then they wonder why the cops are having a field day every time they go anywhere.
I've never had a fast car, but me and my friends used to go on some backroads and fuck around since all our cars were around the same speed. I'm just too scared to even try it now, I've got a kid and a wife, and only one car, and the way shits starting to go, I think their gonna start seizing these cars soon.
