I even heard,that if they got a warrent to search for drugs.. and they find guns,and drugs.. they can confiscate the guns.. but cannot put a charge on you if it was not noted in the warrent to look for guns.

These are your US laws,and rights.. some of you really need to read up on them,it might help you one day.Im not saying to go out and be an ass to every cop,but for the cops that liek to be asses and harass people,these laws might help you out.

 

Mostly true. If they get a warrant for drugs, then they can only search in places where drugs might be, which is almost anywhere. If they find something that is not drugs, but would still be able to be found where drugs might be present, they can use it.

If their warrant is for guns, however, which are not as easily concealed as drugs, and they search somewhere like in a very small compartment or somewhere a gun would not be easily concealed and drugs are found, then the drugs are inadmissable.

Warrant for a dead body? They can only search the trunk and the back seat, pretty much. Even if they find a bloody knife and a note to the person's family - Inadmissable.

Always say no, you never know if you're gonna get a crooked cop who just wants to nail you and happened to pull over a pothead earlier that night. You have *ZERO* rights if you say yes.

If by working the system, you mean having me use my plethora of available resources to do what I need/want to do, while getting paid my $20 per hour, (at 2 hours that would be $40 ), and you keeping yourself from going on enjoying your night because your "makin my life hell" ..

Be polite and 9 times outta 10 there will be NO problems whatsoever. If the cop is being disrespectful and rude, just remember that respect is earned - not given - so treat him how he treats you but don't be a jackass and do something that will get you in MORE trouble.

 

I don't get why everyone plays the cop as a bad guy,If your honest with them,they never give you shit...You guys will learn this over time...

i will NEVER like cops till the day i die, and that will never change, i've been pulled over 30+ times between miami and tampa and i've gotten FOUR tickets (which were all my fault and i will not complain) but the other 26+ times being pulled over was a stupid ass cop, with a stupid ass attitude, trying to search my car for BULLSHIT ... i've only gotten along with ONE cop and that was my old next door neighbor
and i will talk 2 u like my uncle because you are NOBODY to me, just another idiot doing his job, like anybody else, like the little 16 year old making pictures at CVS, or me, handling YOUR money at the bank

An attitude like that it what puts people that know when thier rights are being stepped on into defense mode.

Very easy to cross the line when your not following "the book" verbatim. You get someone that knows exactly where that line is and is ready to defend thier side of it when the cop crosses it trying to act like a badass, and you could end up with some serious trouble/injury.

There have been cases in the past where an officer crossed the line attempting to put someone under arrest and that person resisted and the officer was seriously hurt and upon later inspection, the arrest was found to not be legit. I believe he was fired as a result of that action and spent some time in a hospital aswell.

Yeah, officer saftly may be the first thing on an officers mind when initiating a traffic stop, but damn it, you better treat me with some common courtesy and some respect if you intend for this thing to be a polite exchange of ideas. There are alot of things that can be said and done that don't justify harassment and resisting and you better believe "I" have had pleanty of training time on this side of the line.
