Domestics will go faster, cheaper. Some imports are right up there initially, you can make most of the factory turbo stuff run 12's or so without too much effort. After that, the extra displacement wins.

so if you take a 15 second mustang gt(yes i saw a 5.0 run consistant 15.5's at track day) and turn it into an 11 second car, its still a turd? or was that just an import joke?
