well to me taking something slow and trying to make it fast is kinda like polishing a turd.

in the end it's still a turd.

Big difference here...domestic could be a 305 tbi vs. a 4G63, or it could be a fox body/ 03 cobra vs. civic

Dont laught at those 3 cyl metros...the ones that come with a turbo are surprisingly easy to make fast, especially since they weigh ~2000

Hell the top 3 sleepers IMO are any given Volvo (especially a turbo I5 RWD), 88-91 or so Dodge Caravan turbo, and Chevy Sprint turbo

Better, definetly of course, but it wouldnt hurt as bad as if it were an oldschool stationwagon/caravan IMO. Just too easy to make those fast

compared to their similar priced import cars, yes.

fast is a relative term, for example you think your cars are "fast", i dont.

a stock 90'ish mustang runs about a 14.9-15.1....odd, so does a stock 90'ish toyota supra turbo, and a stock eclipse/laser/talon turbo of the same year...given its awd, the DSM will go low 14's/high 13's for somewhere in the neighborhood of $200
