new street racin law to be passed soon..
the fines have are proposed to increase and a mandatory loss of license as well is on the voting table. i have to say i dont dissagree with stiffing up the penalties but the bigger fine is not something that is gonna control this mess. half these guys are yuppie high schoolers.

they need to open a track around here, end of story... we have to drive a dam hour for a 1/4 mile... 1/8 is no fun, who cars who can hit 60mph first. i wanna go all out u no.... i got caught at 140 and my punishment was about the same as street racing, talk about dumb??? my shit was alot more dangerous then a street race, and the averadge street race i c goes to 70 ttops, maybee 100 or somthing if its on an interstate, and my latest ticket was "falure to drive in a single lane of traffic" when i spun out into a wall cuz some jackass changed lanes on me, how gay is that
IMO street racing on anykind of traffic area is stupid, however increasing the fines will only make people want to get caught less.
I.E. Run from the police, which in my opinion is much much worse than a designated race on a empty bridge.
What they should do is designate places for people to race on a public road so everyone knows what is goin on there, and control it intead of just trying to make money off of people in the form of fines and court costs.
There obviosly arent enough tracks around or there would be no street racing problem.
Of course none of this will ever happen unless the politicians have a reason to listen to us, if you really want to change something you need people and money so in a nutshell we must organize our efforts instead of bullshitting on the internet.

From all of my experiences cops pull people over for the stupid shit. When more life threatening things are going down elsewhere. I have gotten 2 tickets. 1, crossing a safety zone. Crossing a safety zone is where when somebody goes to turn into a neighbor hood and you go around them a little as not to come to a complete stop behind them. 2, curfew ticket. 80 dollars for being out past 11 when i was 16. This is 10 days b4 my birthday. The guy pulls me over for curfew. And the sarcastic arogant "you're fucked" attitude they display at your window for doing this is just out of hand. Cops are fucking pigs. I dont disagree with the law though, it is illegal. Though i do it, it is dangerous.
whtmustang an hour isnt that long to be legal. the 1/8 is a blast. if you only do 60 in the 1/8 squeeze your ride man shit thats slow. you wrecked your car you even said it your self on the thread you started when it happened, you said you overcorrected or something.

i agree they could totally block off frontage road at night all businesses no residential(yet) but the DOT would have a fit and the state couldnt have the liability risk.
organization and a game plan are crucial i have been wanting to open a business just coulnt find the right venue(low over head and easy to operate) we need to formulate.

the funny thing is that fatal accidents resulting from street racing are really low compared to those where a person is using a cellular phone, but i dont see anyone beign arrested for that.
The reason we are being fucked with is because we are a small minority and have little or no representation.
Unfortuantely as long as the county keeps making money and public outcry is against us we will never have any kind of "frontage road" racing.
The only real way to do it would be to get enought people to petition, and then pass some sort of referendum. WHICH WILL NEVER HAPPEN, even though it may be the best way to regulate racing on the street and prevent loss of life.
no it still wont happen on the street cause of the states liability and the DOT. if we want to do something we need to first look into property we need a nice chunk of land away from residents. maybe pasco? how much would it take to build a track.

the same liability would equate into enormous insurance costs for a private buisness. one more track isnt gonna fix anything, so i guess that leaves me with running for the fat fucking pigs!
Just had a though, if one were to get a good sized grant from the state it would be possible.
