new street racin law to be passed soon..
Just watched the news.. looks like they are making the penalties for street racing even more harsh.
1st offence has gone from $250 to $500 with a MANDATORY loss of drivers licence for 1 year
2nd offence with in 5 years and the fine goes from $500 to $1000 and a MANDATORY 2 year loss of license plus they can impound your car and you will have to pay ALL impounding fees if you ever want your car back.
They say the bill as gone through both houses with no resistence at all. So I expect to see it in action before too long..
You seem to be better off getting a d.u.i. than a street racing ticket now...

Ya I saw that story too. What pisses me off is that congressman from Melbourne said " there's plent of tracks to go to" WTF?? What an asshole. Too busy being a damn crook to actually research and realize that there is what only 4y 1/4 mile tracks in FL? GOD, I hate politicians. -Mark
