I highlighted the important parts... the rest was just fluff talking about how the 2.5 RS engine is crap and not suitable for boost.
CVH Engine line from 1968 to current
All 4 cylinders, all the same design with different displacement/heads.

my vote... SR20DET.
4G has some crank walk issues no? haven't heard that mentioned much. thats quite a bitch when it happens. not a problem w. the SR.
And the low port engines have good flow, so you can't classify ALL SR's as having poor head flow either.
much respect for the 4G63. great bulletproof engine. but the vote go's to NISSAN's bulletproof beast.

because its much easier and cheaper to buy a older used DSM instead of getting an engine from Japan and swapping it in. doesn't make the engine "better"

Also, I believe Tom was refering to REAL race cars. Not ones built by people who cant afford to use an SR20DET. I know HKS has a drag Sylvia that is damn impressive. I'm not knocking that. But, there are severl 4G63 powered race cars. I know your going to say what about drift, but, I will stop you there and say again, that is a showcase of the chassis. A 240 with a 4G63 would drift just the same.
