I'm obviously gonna have a bias towards the EJ22t, but when thinking about the SR20 or the 4g63, all that comes to mind is, glenn's 611rwhp on stock internals and crankwalk...respectively.

I dont really have any experience with anything but Honda so all I can say is this: my B18C in my 92 hatch has has taken a serious ass whoopin' is the past 6 1/2 years. I have literally over a thousand time slips in that car(I counted). It has a total of 130k miles(on the engine), through long road trips, track events, patterson road excursions, countless stoplight encounters, has bounced of the rev limiter in 5th many times, has commuted me to and from work, has survived Johns rigorous dyno , you name it that car has done it. Here is my point: that engine is still alive(never blown up), and now resides in a friend of mines car. He just recently dynoed it and it still puts 196 to the wheels all motor using ALL Honda internals. And now he drives it from Gainsville to Sarasota on weekends. I think that is pretty much Honda's signature; build a car that can do all these things reliably, so in my opinion, that 1.8 liter marvel would take this award hands down, if there really was one.
