I already know about the full floating pins vs the pressed in pins and different casting numbers for the rods. I omitted that info because it wasnt relevant. Neither engine will sustain much more than 650hp reliably so what was the point. No one here besides me is doing a 6.0. (Shrug) I try to do as much homework on what ever project I am doing. You had the tenacity to post up and make a comment that did nothing but beat around the bush. Why not speak up and say whats on your mind man? To say your not trying to be a dick and then be a dick is pretty condescending. Its ok to be an asshole. Look at me,.. I do it all the time.

Ok,.. I'll seach some moar then.

Full floating pins is irrelevant to pressed pins?

According to the guys on LS1tech, if I kept the stock cam in yes I could. So with the cam I have now you are probably right.
Everything is speculation at this point. As I stated,.. I am 'guestimating'. Meaning I honestly have no clue.

Would you agree that neither a 96 GT shortblock nor a 96 Cobra shortblock will hold more HP than the other?
The main relevant feature between the 2 are the the heads.
The fact that one has a cast crank vs the other having a forged steal crank becomes irrelevant when both can safely hold 650hp which is more than most people will ever make on the street.

The same as you choosing to omit your real opinion in your comments so it must be irrelevant,.. no?

Have a nice night collecting money from bad guys so they can get back out on the streets.

Hold the phone there Hurst lol.. I'm doing a 6.0 too, actually I was fiddling with the option of doing a 418 since I plan on running ported LS3 heads anyway and would benefit from more CI with the higher flowing heads... I just haven't posted much info if any at all on here since my progress is extremely slow, since money is a huge factor in my build (not saying yours isn't). Also, I plan for my entire build to take a few years and not a few months. Right now I'm waiting on Bryan to finish up with your car and Dr. Dirts car so I can get my car in to him before I even begin to resume buying parts again. My setup will be completely different from yours as I'm going for straight line factor and not all around great driver.
