What are you gonna do when the little shitzeater, I mean shitzu, bits your baby in the face bcause it's jealous? That I will bet money WILL happen...wanna take it? Not that I wish that on anyone....but by the time she's a toddler you precious accessory of a man dog, will bite over jealousy

 

It all depends on the situation. In this little situation of yours, you have said a big word. "IF"....I mean, this dog will (statistically speaking anyway) never harm more than the occasional flea. (and yes, it will probably maul and maim it AND eat it!) Poor flea. Anyway, like I said, the overwhelming majority of pits will not "snap". How he treats this dog is a large part of that. If he mistreats it, and it snaps, then yes. He should go to jail. If he treats it like he's SUPPOSED to, and takes care of it, it will most likely never have an issue. Now, just as he has to train the dog....He needs to train his KIDS when to, and when not to, screw around with the dog. But this is common sense.

 

First, I don't own a Shih Tzu....

Second: If either of my dogs ever bit my child, especially on the face, I would take the dog outside and kill it.

No need to call animal services.

The one thing glaringly overlooked: Neither of my dogs could kill my baby with a bite. They would never have the time and I could easily get the dogs off the baby if one of them did snap because.... they are very aware that I am their master.

A pit, on the other hand loses all control when they attack and if any man on this planet thinks he is the master of any pit bull terrier he is mistaken. They do what they want.... especially when they are in attack mode.

All the fucking "PITBULLS" you see in the news are not full blood American Pitbull Terriers. Quit being brain washed by the god damn media. They dont know shit about the breed and if it looks like a fucking "PITBULL" they will call it a "PITBULL" when 99% of the time its a fucking mutt.

Have you ever owned a pitbull? Have you ever had any experience with a pitbull? Do you know what a real American Pitbull Terrier looks like?

I myself have a full blood American Pitbull Terrier. He is the biggest pussy in the world. He plays with my twin neices that are 8 years old and has yet to bite/snap at them.

Another thing, I'm not a thug. I dont dress thuggish and I dont try to be a "hard ass" because I own a "PITBULL". I like the breed because of their loyalness and energy and just about everyone that has a real American Pitbull Terrier isnt a thug. Most of them live in the sticks.

Pitbulls were not bred to show any HUMAN AGRESSION at all. They have dog/animal aggression which is completely different. If any pitbull was to show any signs of human aggression it was either killed or not bred to pass on its traits. They were bred so a man could pull his dog out of a dog fight without the dog turning towards him.

Do some research on the breed before opening your mouth. Your making yourself look more stupid than you already are

 

I'd love to own an actual, not mixed, Pit one day. My parents and I, when I was 11, picked up a Pitbull/Boxer mixed female from the SPCA. She was 1, and was abused by her prior owners. She was real skiddish around people and animals for the first couple years of ownership, but ever since then, she's been nothing but great. Wakes us up if people are prowling around outside, barks when there's noises, wakes us if she needs to go out in the middle of the night, and is an absolute sweetheart. She snapped at us once, and was punished accordingly, and has never done it again. Great dog, and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another Pit or Pit mix.

No, however the dog has been around young kids (ages 2-6) multiple times. Worst she's ever done is lick them half to death. She knows not to jump on other people, unless we say 'high five' to her, when she proceeds to jump and give a high five to whoever says it.
