That is plain stipid!....where were the parents / dog owners? You are one that dont think the parent should be responsible for your animals too, right? Why wasnt they watching thier children? Really? I'd like to hear, in this thread, from people who ACTUALLY have ever been attacked by a Pit. What were the circumstances surrounding the 'mauling'? Have you ever witnessed an attack? Do you now the owner(s) of the attacking animal? Let's get some fucking facts in this thread, not some senseless, media driven loads of shit. My Pit has never drawn blood, be it on an adult, teenager, baby, or other animal. She gets along with our neighbors' cats, dogs, shit she even tries to approach squirrels until they haul ass. But, I'm POSITIVE if the squirrels didn't run, little old Cocoa would just RAVAGE them.

 

There are so many clueless people in this world......Does any of you Pit Haters, know that even dogs bred for fighting arent human aggressive? Dont believe it do you? Not that you dont believe it, your uneducated. Pick up a book....there's many in a library about game bred dogs. Game dogs are animal aggressive not human aggressive. I am willing to bet, like most Americans, myself included, the majority of pitbull opponents are probably gun owners. That means that statistically, they or their family members are more likely to be killed or severely injured by firearms in their own home than by a pitbull.

I have never, nor will I ever, owned a pitbull. However, this country was built on individual freedoms and we face a constant intrusion by the government trying to ban this, or regulate that. With these freedoms should come an equal responsibility and a violation of these responsibilities should result in criminal punishment.

Many people are fine with banning or regulating other's freedoms, but when what they enjoy (guns, fast cars, pitbulls, cigarettes, etc) fall into the crosshairs THEN the government has gone TOO FAR!!!!!!!!!
